#1. Loreal Perfecting Base. I wear it in the T-zone under a little bit of foundation and it really gets rid of the unwanted shine. I love it!! Found it in the make-up section at Walgreens.
#2. Essie "Armed and Ready" polish. Because why wouldn't you buy it with a name like that? I like it because it's not quite black. Feel free to add some glitter on your ring finger just because.
#3. Okay I just found this 2 weeks ago. It came highly recommended by my esthetician, and it has changed my life. If you wax... you need it. Really, it's miraculous. I ordered mine here. And that's all I'm going to say about that.
#4. I've been making and using this scrub/shaving cream since the late summer. You will love how soft your legs feel!! It's cheap, all natural, and it smells yummy enough to eat. (You could eat it!) No more shaving cream. Do yourself a favor- buy the big jug of coconut oil at Costco.

#5. Okay, this one might seem a little crunchy, but trust me... it smells so good. I don't usually go for "fruity" scents either. I'm not sure why this one is different, but I just really like it. (I bought mine from the beauty supply store. They also carry it at the tanning salon (no, I'm not tanning).
#6. Bonus! I just remembered this one! C.O. Bigelow lip gloss in "pearl mint". I love this because it has a minty taste and smell. The other day when I kissed Carl he asked me if I had just brushed my teeth. Of course I hadn't... it was the gloss providing the zing! How cool is that? Found it here.
I'd love to hear some of your favorites! Leave them in the comments.
Somedays you just don't want to get out of bed. Sometimes the things that await you feel too big. There are those mornings when you wake up feeling at least ten pounds heavier than you did when you went to bed- physically and emotionally. Ugh, it's just... blah. Naturally, the most self-gratifying thing to do would be to mope through the day spreading melancholy... at least it usually is for me.
But I say we fake it. I say we get up, get dressed (no sweats or leggings), eat something healthy, dance a little bit, smoosh on some pink lipstick, and wear something sparkly.
Remember all the things that you love about life, try and count the different ways that you are blessed, smile at yourself in the mirror... and before you know it, you're smiling back.
It's going to be a good day today. I'm going to make sure of it.
