Love wins

It was just before the horrible tragedy in CT that I posted my last entry about "lightening up". I wanted to say that I am deeply saddened and equally horrified by this senseless act of violence. It is an unimaginable nightmare to think that any child would ever encounter such evil and that any parent would be faced with such a loss. I keep repeating to myself what my friend wrote earlier today. She said, "Love still wins." It does. Unfortunately we live in a depraved and fallen world filled with hate... but I believe, and will always believe, that in the end Love Wins.

I was waiting by the door for my kids when they got home this afternoon. We ate lollypops, sat squished together, and felt very blessed. Prayers for peace and comfort to all those affected.
