/This was my garden at the end of May.
Remember all my good intentions? Well here's what my sweet seedlings looked like a short time ago.
Um what was I thinking? I HAD MY 4TH BABY AT THE END OF APRIL! HOW WOULD I EVER MANAGE TO PLANT AND MAINTAIN A GARDEN THIS SPRING/SUMMER? On top of that our weather has been unseasonably cold, windy and rainy.
Just when I had given up all hope and was considering a CSA subscription...I rallied the troops. You know what they say, "Many hands make light work." We pulled the weeds, fluffed the dirt, revived the plants and plopped them in the ground.
(chives, radishes, and maybe a watermelon or two... they may not survive)
(tomatoes and zucchini)
(me picking the damn squash bugs off of my zucchini)
(most all garden work takes place with Ian snuggled up in the Moby)
I don't know about all of it. We are just sort of flying by the seat of our pants this year. We are also attempting to grow green beans, cucumbers, broccoli, lettuce, onions, and we have a whole box of baby strawberries.
Who knows, it might just grow after all.
